Granite Broadband, LLC was created to provide high speed wireless broadband services to customers in rural Wisconsin.
Trinidad Group, LLC and Mark Dodge established Dotnet Acquisition Company to purchase the assets of Dotnet Internet Services and create Granite Broadband, LLC. Dotnet Internet Services was a ten-year old, Fond du Lac-based Internet Service Provider that provided wireless, dial-up and DSL services to its customers.
The new company, Granite Broadband, sells the more cutting-edge wireless and fiber Internet connectivity and services to individuals, businesses and government institutions. Granite's headquarters is located at 305 Watson Street in Ripon, Wisconsin, a rural community of about 7,600 people in western Fond du Lac County. The company leases 2,200 square feet of office space at this location, which serves as its corporate headquarters and houses its office staff and data center. A satellite office is located 14 Western Avenue in Fond du Lac.
Granite Broadband provides wireless Internet services and many other Information Technology services to the residential, corporate and government marketplaces. Granite uses state-of-the-art Wimax technology from Alvarion and Motorola, global leaders in the wireless Internet industry.
